Translation Handling in TYPO3: Where We Are and Where We Could Go

Multilingual content handling is one of TYPO3's key strengths, but its current concepts are complex and still leave some translation needs uncovered. In this session, we'll discuss today's pain points, the direction envisioned by the Translation Handling Initiative, and concrete next steps such as simplifying translation modes, adopting BCP47 for language identification and completing language layers.
