Luana Valentini

Luana is the communications lead at the TYPO3 company, where she and her team coordinate communications across product, corporate, community, partner, and event-related topics. 

Before moving into open source in 2018, Luana spent nine years in professional football, including as Press Officer at 1. FC Nürnberg. Working in one of Germany's most emotionally charged sporting environments gave her first-hand experience in media relations, stakeholder communication, and decision-making under pressure.

With a background in media sciences and experience spanning technology, professional sports, and communications, she is committed to making complex topics practical, transparent, and understandable.
